We are excited to announce that we have teamed with the awesome charity, Cancer for College and their biggest supporter, Will Ferrell!

We are honored to partner with Cancer for College and support it’s goals for the 2011-12 giving season. “My mother is a cancer survivor and CFC is a wonderful tribute to kids who have overcome so much, and want to continue to beat cancer by attending college.” said Mothers Month® Founder Ced Funches. “We will be raising funds and partnering on some amazing viral awareness campaigns to make people more aware of cancer and the need to appreciate our mothers before it’s too late.”

“We are so fortunate to have such a loyal supporter and friend as Will Ferrell,” said Cancer for College Founder Craig Pollard of his friend and former fraternity brother at the University of Southern California. “People can be charitable with their time or their money, and Will is extremely generous to our cause with both. I think it’s a testament to these amazing kids who have survived cancer and just want to return to some sort of normalcy in their life. Thanks to Will we are going to be able to help a lot of survivors through this promotion.”

The 18th Annual Will Powered Golf Classic will be played at the Pechanga Resort and Casino. The winner will receive a foursome in the golf tournament, airfare to California, two nights accommodations at the Pechanga Resort and Casino plus four premier tickets to the Kinda Humorous Comedy Show which features Will Ferrell and a number of his funniest friends for a night of stand-up comedy, sketches and musical performances. A winner will be selected from all the entrants on July 15, 2011.

The inaugural Will Powered Invitational will take a select group of 24 golfers to the Pebble Beach Golf Resort for a special weekend of fun that includes airfare, accommodations at the Inn at Spanish Bay, golf at the Links at Spanish Bay and the world famous Pebble Beach Golf Links. There will also be assorted group meals and cocktail parties to make it a thoroughly memorable experience with the beloved funnyman. A winner for the grand prize trip to Pebble Beach will be selected on September 1, 2011.
